Dried blueberries are picked at peak freshness and dehydrated. Dried blueberries have a crisp texture and a deep blueberry flavor and are great for mixing into baked goods, yogurts, cereals and oatmeals.

Dried blueberry muffins

  • 1/4 cup dried blueberries
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg

Put the blueberries in a small bowl, adding just enough hot water to cover them. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line muffin tin with cupcake papers. Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, milk, oil and egg. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir. Drain the blueberries and add them to the mixture. Portion into 12 muffin cups and bake for 15 minutes until lightly browned.
