Jasmine Rice is an aromatic rice with a distinctive flowery flavor. This rice is tender and moist when cooked and is becoming very popular in use in different types of fusion cooking. For a great, fresh tasting jasmine rice side dish, combine 3 cups of jasmine rice with 1 cup of chicken broth. Boil until rice is tender. Meanwhile, in a skillet over medium heat, saute 3 minced cloves of garlic and 1/3 cup of finely chopped and peeled fresh ginger for about 30 seconds in 1 tbsp of olive oil. Combine garlic and ginger mixture with the cooked rice and top with chopped cilantro leaves.
