StarsStarsStarsStarsStars Best Canner I've used in 45 years
Allen Frechette
I've been canning since I was a child helping my mother and pressure canning since 1973, with a Presto Canner (then made in the USA). It has held up well, but the lid was always difficult to open and I broke the Bakelite handles on it years ago and replaced them with hard maple. The rubber gasket often failed to stay seated and would leak pressure. The new All American Pressure Canner 915 is the same size as my old canner, but so much better built and easier to open. Plus the old canner just had one pressure, 15 PSI which resulted in some foods being over cooked.
