For deep frying or candy melting, ensure correctness with this essential Candy Jelly Deep Fry Thermometer. Constructed of stainless steel, it features a 2-1/2-inch diameter face, an easy-to-read display, and a pot clip for attachment to a deep frying vat or candy pan. The temperature range of 100 degrees up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (also in Celsius) is perfect for maintaining the right temperature while cooking. Whether aiming for soft ball, firm ball, hard ball, soft crack, or hard crack stages, an accurate temperature reading is crucial for perfect candy, fudge, caramel, and more. Attach the clip to the side of the pan, lower the thermometer stem tip through holes in the clip at least 2" into the mixture, and keep the stem off the bottom and side of the pan. Set the pre-set indicator to the desired temperature and remove when the pointer reaches the pre-set indicator.
