Propane Lantern Mantles

Pack of Two Mantles. Fits most Propane Lanterns.

TO INSTALL NEW MANTLE(S)
Remove all traces of old mantle(s). In groove around burner tube, tie new mantle(s) so that the flat side of the mantle(s) s nearest the burner tube (without touching it). Excess string should be trimmed off.

TO PRIME NEW MANTLE(S)
Please make sure valve is in the closed position by turning it in the clockwise direction. Hold a lit match to the bottom of the mantle(s) allowing them to burn evenly. This reduces the mantle(s) in size and causes it to turn a gray/white color. It will take approx. 2-3 minutes for the mantle(s) to burn off completely. DO NOT touch mantle(s) after it has been ignited and avoid handling after it is primed.
