Wheat Berries are high in protein and made from either hard red spring wheat or hard white spring wheat. Chemical and GMO free, the kernels are naturally air dried and make them great for baking.

Sort through wheat berries thoroughly first, discarding any stones or malformed berries. Rinse well under cool water. Place in a large, heavy sauce pan with 7 cups of water per every 2 cups of wheat berries and add 1 tsp. of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer gently for 1 hour, stirring occassionally.
