Cooking Freekeh Recipe
Freekeh is an uncommon, but tasty and healthy dish. Add it to your diet with this fun and simple recipe.
Place water, freekeh, salt, and olive oil in a large saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally, then cover the saucepan with a lid. Lower heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes for cooking cracked grain. Cook whole grain for 40-45 minutes.
Try adding spinach to coked freekeh for more nutrition and flavor diversity. Goes great inside oven roasted pumpkins or winter squash on a bed of cooked couscous.
